This service is aimed at post-op clients experiencing localized swelling or a palpable fluid buildup after procedures such as liposuction, tummy tucks, or BBLs. If you notice persistent soft swelling beneath the skin or increased fullness at a surgical site, an RN-performed aspiration can be an option to address that specific pocket of fluid and improve comfort during recovery.
Deciding to aspirate involves trade-offs: aspiration can give relatively immediate reduction of a fluid pocket, but some seromas may need follow-up or repeat drainage.
